More than 20 years ago, Yvonne Koulouthros founded New Jersey-based Way With Words to fulfill clients' written needs by providing customized editorial services and consulting to create clear, consistent, and concise content. 

With 25+ years of leadership experience in the editorial world, Yvonne specializes in revamping print and digital mediums in the business-to-business, education, medical, non-profit, and publishing sectors. She has provided a range of extensive services—from project management and writing to editing and copyfitting (and everything in between)—for a variety of companies and individuals, be they start-ups or Fortune 500 corporations, students or C-level executives. 

Prior to launching Way With Words, Yvonne began her career as an Editorial Researcher at PC Magazine and was promoted to Staff Editor within her first year. She next transformed the niche trade magazine The ProEmp Journal as its Executive Editor and then Editor in Chief—while an Adjunct Professor at New York University (NYU) for the same graduate journalism program she had completed—before serving the 100-year-old non-profit HeartShare Human Services of NY as its Director of Communications.

 After receiving her master's degree in  magazine journalism from NYU, Yvonne attained certification in editing for translators from 

Middlebury College's Monterey Institute of International Studies. Previously, she had obtained her bachelor's degree in language exposition from Lafayette College; as an undergrad, she also studied in Spain and France during her junior year abroad before serving as Editor in Chief of Pennsylvania's oldest college newspaper, The Lafayette, which was awarded for outstanding communications under her leadership.
